16 Small(er) Breweries Across the US with their own NA Beers you maybe didn’t know about
The 16 breweries below are across the US and have been working on NA beers for a while. Some can and ship nationally, while others have their beer on draft only in the taproom. A variety of methods, from different brew techniques to not produce alcohol, new NA yeasts, and vacuum distillation are used. Some even have documented their processes in depth on their website. North Dakota – Half Brothers Brewing– Half Brothers has had an NA beer offering always available in cans in their brewery for multiple years. They currently have N/A Nope a Golden Ale with Guava.
Colorado – Tommyknocker Brewing – Tommyknocker Brewing actually has had non-alcoholic beer for a while, working with Sustainable Beverage Technologies. They have their NA Blood Orange IPA in the taproom and in cans for sale distributed within Colorado.
California – Three Weavers Brewing recently launched 3 NA Versions of their beers available in cans in their taproom and some local distribution. They have an IPA, Hazy IPA, and a NA Lager regularly.
Washington – Figurehead Brewing is a small craft brewery in Seattle. They’ve been working on NA beers before others local in Seattle and have had a non-alcoholic brown available for a while. Their blog even covers the methods and their journey to get there
Oregon – Roaming Nobles Beer– Oregon actually has a larger selection of breweries with NA beers including Deschutes, Crux Fermentation Project, and 10 Barrel Brewing. However it is also home to some smaller and newer NA Only breweries like Roaming Nobles who launched in mid 2022. Distribution is across the state, current locations available on their home page.
Michigan – Eastern Market Brewing – Eastern Market in Michigan has been a host to one of ABV Technology’s Equalizer machines, allowing them to keep 1+ non-alcoholic beer available. Right now they have several including their 313 IPA, NA Platinum Blonde, and NA Tangerine Sour
New York – Talea Brewing in New York launched their first FIVE non-alcoholic beers in January 2023 and have kept 1-3 on tap in their locations since. They’ve expanded from 2 to 4 taprooms within New York the past year, bringing their NA beers to all the locations, and recently launched their first canned NA beer available for local shipping in NY in January 2024.
New Jersey – Hackensack Brewing launched their own non-alcoholic beer in 2023 and have kept one in the lineup since, currently in the process of launching a new NA Pilsener.
Arkansas – Hawk Moth Brewing regularly has an NA beer with a new batch releasing soon.
Alaska – 49th State Brewing in Alaska has their Mt Marathon NA IPA available at their brewery and taproom at the airport as well.
Florida – Leader Brewing – Florida is actually home to multiple breweries with their own NA Beers, and NA only breweries. Some locals to follow for on premise consumption are Leader Brewing who have many locations on draft, a tasting room, and are at a lot of festivals.
Indiana – Fontana Farms @ Generation NA – Indiana is home to many NA beer offerings locally, but one unique model is Fontana Farms who have an NA on draft only available at Generation NA.
Arizona – Arizona Wilderness Brewing, known for their use of barley locally grown in a way that reduces water use, has produced multiple NA Beers with their IPA as a regular. It’s available at all their taprooms
Pennsylvania – Two Frays Brewing has been leaning into NA Beers this past with several releases, 4 on tap currently, a regular NA only MOD Mondays (collab with @openroadbarpgh) and more.
North Carolina –Resident Culture Brewing has an NA Beer series call N.A.R.C with it available for online purchase from their Plaza Midwood Location and served in their taprooms across North Carolina
South Carolina – Freehouse Brewing has had an NA for a while and recently began offering them in cans
