On September 13th, The Phoenix and Reducaholic partnered to bring the first non-alcoholic (NA) craft beer festival to Colorado; The Dry Hop Fest. The event was open to anyone; sober, sober curious, and the general population interested in NA Beer and supportive of those in sobriety.
The event focused on providing a variety of quality non-alcoholic beers with over 29 different brands represented at the fest, with over 150 different choices to sample. India Pale Ales, Lagers, Darks, NA Cocktails, Spirits, Kombucha, and even multiple NA beers on draft. The event included several “alcohol free” options with zero traces of alcohol as well.
In addition to tasty brews, the event was catered by a pizza company, had non-alcoholic beer pong, a raffle, and live music.
With nearly 300 people from all backgrounds attending the event, for a first time event, it was a happy success. We appreciated all attendees and brands who came themselves and those who just sent product.
What’s next? The Dry Hop Fest is far from done and not a one-off event. Both attendees and sponsor brands expressed interest in seeing what next year brings and we are thinking bigger, better, and more. The goal of The Dry Hop Fest was to show the variety of choices and have a local focus as well. This means the model can be replicated in other areas with both national and local to those region brands. Look out for 2026 announcements for a bigger Denver event and events in other locations in the US!
